I’ve been tied to the railway tracks. Can Dudley Do-Right rescue me in time? To find out comeback tomorrow.

The Funny One Wears Prada

Hello, Funny One here. My sister and I went to the cinema to see the movie “The Expendables 2″ again. It’s so brilliant! Best quote from the film :”My shoe is bigger than this car!”

We were shopping in Wilkinson after the film and we were stopped at the checkout by an assistant. She said something about my bag. We thought she was going to say I shop lifted. She just wanted to know where I bought my bag from, as she liked it.

Today’s state is Wisconsin. The pic is of me throwing toilet paper at someone’s house. Hehehehehe! There is a Paper Discovery Center there where you’ll discover the many ways in which paper products help us control the spread of germs and diseases. You’ll be greeted with a giant sneeze at the start of the exhibit, and you’ll soon want to learn more about how you too can choose a cleaner lifestyle with paper. Diapers, toilet paper, facial tissue, and aseptic food packaging are all presented in a “Then and Now” format, showing the health benefits provided by such paper products. Did you know that in the past they used corn cobs, coconut shells, and anchor cables before the introduction of toilet paper? That must’ve been crap!

Do you like trains? Then you might want to choo-choo-choose these places for a visit: The National Railroad Museum is where you will be introduced to a chapter in national history that brought wealth and modernity to millions of Americans. You will learn all about the history of rail and discover the political, cultural and economic influences that built America. It really goes beyond just a mere discussion of hardware and shows the way in which rail had gone on to shape American culture through literature, music and historical events; The Railroad Memories Museum in Spooner, Wisconsin, houses one of the most fascinating collections of railroad memorabilia in America.  The museum got its start from the collection of the Railroad Memories Bar in downtown Spooner in 1990 and has been growing each and every season since. The Museum moved into the former Chicago & North Western railroad depot in 1992 and now every room in the building has been filled with lots of interesting artifacts showcasing the history of Spooner and the railroad responsible for the town’s existence; The East Troy Electric Railroad is “where you will step back in time.” Their historic rail cars travel a 10 mile trip through the beautiful Southeast Wisconsin. There is also a gift shop that has some unique souvenirs for everyone! Don’t forget to enjoy some delicious ice cream at Lauber’s Old Fashion Ice Cream Parlor that is next to the depot and also have a delicious meal at Ivan’s on the Square in East Troy; The Lumberjack Steam Train is a fun place where you can take the whole family on a trip back in time with a ride on a vintage steam train. Head for Laona and climb aboard the famed Lumberjack Steam Train for an amazing  journey into the late 1800’s. Whoo-Whoo! All aboard!!!

Now, another intriguing place to visit is the Wisconsin Maritime Museum. There is so much to see and do that you’ll want to learn all about the maritime history of Wisconsin and the Great Lakes. Marvel at the exhibits, and be in awe of the detail, and wander in and amongst rich maritime history like you’ve never ever seen before. You can even walk through a real US Navy World War II submarine! That’s cool! I want to go!
