Movie Review – Welcome To The Punch

Hello Funny One here. Today I went to the cinema with my sister to see the movie Welcome To The Punch. It’s about a former criminal, Jacob Sternwood (Mark Strong) He is forced to return to London from his Icelandic hideaway when his son is mixed up in a heist that had gone wrong. This gives detective Max Lewinsky (James McAvoy) one last chance at catching the man that he has always been after. As they face off, they start to discover a deeper conspiracy they both need to work out in order to survive… It’s a really good movie. The actors are really good. I thought the scene where Jacob finds his son was really well acted. Andrea Riseborough was good too. She doesn’t do cliché roles, she does different ones. I would give this movie 5 stars.

Next Stop: St Louis (Don’t Forget to Meet Me There, Batman!)

Hello, Funny One here. I went out with my sister to see the movie “The Dark Knight Rises”. It’s so good! Christian Bale’s acting is amazing. I think he should win an Oscar for it.  It was an amazing movie. But it’s sad that it’s all over now. I want to go and see it again. Next time it’ll be at the Imax!

Anyways, today’s state is Missouri. I drew myself in the movie “Meet Me In St. Louis.” I haven’t actually seen it, though. Oh well. What is there to see and do in  Missouri? Well, The Candy Crown King restaurant looks great! They have amazing sounding sundaes and shakes. Mmmmm sundaes and shakes. Also the Bailey’s Chocolate Bar looks great. The menu looks super yummy. You could take a ride on the Mississippi River aboard a replica 19th century paddle-wheeler. If you want to know more about Missouri then there are many places to visit like the Old Courthouse and experience a big part of U.S. history. It was built between 1839 and 1862. The Courthouse is the site where an enslaved husband and wife, Dred and Harriet Scott, sued for their freedom, and Virginia Minor sued for a woman’s right to vote in 1872.

If you love motorcycles, then you should go to see the Harley Davidson Factory. It looks cool. There’s even a Money Museum. I wonder if they give free samples of money. hehehehe. There’s also a Legoland there, too. Visit the Fantastic Caverns for the only ride-through cave in America. Visitors will discover that even though sunlight can’t penetrate these deep caverns, life can still exist. It really would be cool to go on the Columbia Star Dinner Train, as it offers dinner train trips which depart Saturday nights at 7PM and there is also a Sunday Brunch train departing at 11:30 AM. Guests will dine onboard the  vintage 1930/40’s train and have a relaxing journey that will be about 2 and a half hours to 3 hours. Good news, there’s even a fully stocked bar! Mmmmm Alcohol…
